First, I love the fabric and style! Second, the size is off on every Joie HIGH WAISTED pant I buy. If I wear a 27 or 28 (size 4) in the traditional Park style, I go up to a size 6 in their high waisted version and they're still not a good fit - too tight just at the waist. In the Emerald pant, I had the same experience. So you really must go more than one size up for them to fit comfortably. They might need to go back to their mannequin and adjust the measurements.
