Stephanie White

If you are searching for that perfect bohemian bridal dress, Los Angeles-based designer Stephanie White of Odylyne the Ceremony has the dreamiest gowns to appeal to your wedding fantasies. Mother to Jaxson and Owen, this spirited designer has an eye for design not only in her studio but in her bohemian-inspired home. Read along to discover what a typical Sunday is like for White and how this designer stays balanced amidst her busy schedule.

Describe your typical Sunday. Where are you, what are you wearing, and who are you with?

I’m home, waking up slowly to snuggle the kids in my robe. I have my cup of coffee over some delightful conversation with my husband and we make breakfast together. We make a plan for the day to spend some quality time together as a family. I always resort to wearing vintage or some old denim favorites of mine. Sundays for me are made for rest, relaxation, and reflection!

What are some of your tips on staying balanced and inspired with such a busy schedule running Odylyne The Ceremony?

I try to maintain a positive outlook on everything. Things can get hectic. I sometimes have to set reminders for myself to get things done. But throughout it all, if I am not creative I feel like I didn't take a full breath. And it’s very important that my work doesn't feel stale or redundant. I think taking time for yourself, for even a couple of minutes to recharge, is always a good thing. Grab a coffee, eat a sweet snack, listen to your favorite song, text your sweetheart something funny —anything to keep your mood happy and stress-free.

You’ve been quoted as saying having an all white room in your gorgeous home helps you feel centered and calm. Has that changed at all having children?

That has definitely changed since having my daughter! She has no rules for anything white and sees all the walls as a blank canvas where she can draw whatever her heart desires. Who can blame her? Ultimately, I will always keep most of my home white because it is such good place to start with ideas and I cherish that feeling of being able to build from a clear foundation.
