Our Joie girl loves her Sundays—flea markets, champagne brunches, morning hikes, gallery exhibits—and being chic and relaxed in Joie the whole time. And thus, Sunday Girl was born.

What was your last great weekend adventure?

Trekking up to Stone Barns for lunch and a tour of the Rockefeller estate in Hudson Valley in the fall.

How would you describe your Sunday style?

I tend to become really preppy on the weekends – cuffed jeans, button up shirts, loafers, crewneck sweaters, bomber jackets.

Do you have a favorite park in Manhattan?

I love cruising up and down the Hudson River Park in the spring, summer and fall, and laying in the grass down by the Statue of Liberty in TriBeca.

What essentials could we always find in your weekend bag?

It’s pretty minimal – iPod, Smith’s rosebud salve, Persol sunglasses and the key to my bike lock.

Your ideal Sunday is…

Making it to my morning kickboxing class (at 10 AM, yikes!), being outside with friends (weather permitting) and lounging at home with my man Jackson [Jackson is a tabby cat].

What’s your shopping style: Madison Avenue or flea market?

I like the flea markets for home décor, and Uptown for self-décor.

Where do you find your best inspiration in the city?

Bookstores like Strand, and generally exploring neighborhoods, stumbling on new stores, restaurants, etc.

Signature Sunday brunch food and drink order?

I’m always on the hunt for the best granola in town (love Five Leaves!) or I love Maoz for a takeout meal. My drink is a mint iced tea or Caipirinha depending on the day’s agenda…

What are we most likely to find you reading and listening to on a lazy Sunday?

I’ll be catching up on bookmarked blogs and sites, and listening to my Pandora station which is a mix of Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Bobby Brown, Robin Thicke, Jay-Z and 2Pac.

What’s your favorite piece from the current Joie collection?

The Yolanda sweater – seasonless and effortless!
